Eviction & Exclusion
Remove unwanted guests with kindness.
If you owned four different houses (that’s impressive), would you choose to stay in the one that was noisy and smelled bad? Neither would we! With a detailed understanding of each species’ natural behaviors, we use gentle deterrents like lighting, sound, and scent to encourage critters to move out.
Eviction
Every home has a door. Sometimes, we have to make sure that door doesn’t allow for re-entry. One-way doors, sometimes called “excluders”, are crafted specifically for each species and location. We build our excluders with safety and repair in mind, ensuring your cost stays low.
Exclusion
Our Process
Consultation
1
Any good solution should begin with a thorough assessment of the problem. A consultation helps us to determine what type of critter we’re working with and why it’s there. We’ll identify entry and exit points, look for sources of food and other attractants, and determine whether or not there’s babies involved (kids make things more complicated).
Formulation
2
After the consultation, we’ll create a tailored plan just for you. Utilizing our expertise in wildlife behavior and proven methods, we’ll choose the right steps and tools to ensure that the eviction process is fast, effective, and humane (for you and your guests). You’ll also receive a clear, detailed, and updated estimate so you know exactly what to expect. We’re always happy to answer questions!
Installation
3
Once you’ve approved the estimate, we’ll get right to work! Eviction and exclusion installations can generally be completed within a day, and stay up for 2-7 days. We’ll help you monitor the area for signs that the animal(s) has left, always keeping in mind babies when applicable.
Repair
4
So, now the home is empty, but we need to make sure no one else moves back in. We’ll help to seal entry and exit holes and prevent further damage by reinforcing compromised sections of siding, roofing, or other material.
*Please note, we are not contractors, and these repairs may not be pretty, but we can promise they’ll prevent the problem from happening again.
